Sorry, another wheel spacer question.

Posted this on the 2nd Gen forum and figured I should put it here too. This is for a S5 non-turbo.

Currently I got 17x8's w/bolt-on spacers that give me offsets of 35 front and 21 rear. I want to push the front out a little more and found these.

http://www.maximummotorsports.com/spacers.asp
(the MM Wheel Spacers)

I've read that the non-hubcentric spacers are a bad idea and was wondering if anyone has experience or input on these hubcentric ones. They're made for 94-04 Mustangs, so am I correct in assuming they will fit. I was considering the 1/4" ones which should give me an offset of about 29 up front.

Any drawbacks or possible problems w/having bolt-on AND MM spacers at the same time?

Thanks,

JT

To be hubcentric you must have the same centerbore diameter on the spacer as on the hub. I have no idea if the centerbore of a Mustang and an FC are the same but I doubt it. If the centerbores are not the same then those spacers will not be hubcentric.

OK, thanks for clearing that up. So if they aren't hubcentric, will they be just as bas as using the cheap ones from Summit?

If it's not hubcentric it's just a plain spacer and you could use anything I guess.
