when tax return im Buying ccw classic! need help

ok im almost finshed with my motor build so my car needs to be sporting badass wheels...theres a few fds on here with classic and they all look badass so maybe you guys can help me out..

ok right now im not to sure on which size but right now id have to say 17x9 or 9.5...i would like 18's but my cars kinda low and my 225 50 16 almost rub...anyway as far as offset, what should i get? i want to get the same size rim all around im running 235 40 17 tires, and id like a 3.5" lip all around, i would rather not roll my fenders but i might do a minor roll to get the look im after...so any ideas on what offset?

anyone have a pic's of polished ccw's on a ssm fd?

I currently have 18X10 and couldn't be happier. Running 285/30/R18 all the way around with no rubbing. I believe it's something like 7.5" back spacing but I don't remember for sure. Just talk to John at CCW, tell him it's for an FD and he'll know exactly what you need.

Few pictures:

Nice pics. I was checking out your car @ 7stock, I have been wanting these for the longest time. I just picked up a set Can you recommend a good street/autocross/occasional track day tire? Tread life is not a concern. Looks like ur running the Michelen (sp?) pilot sport cups. The guy I bought the wheels from tells me that Hankook Rs-3s are the ****, very very sticky for a street tire.

Also, do you think a 285/35/18 would be too tall?

Also, how is the ride quality with the 30 series tires on the street? It probably sucks. Right now I have 40 series on 17" wheels, it's OK with 10/8 kgf/mm springs.

Also, how does the car feel having so much rubber in the front? Would you recommend staggering?

Also, I have to do some more research before I buy tires, obviously

BTW I live in Torrance too, do you ever go to Jamie's local meet in Gardena?

Having seen them in person, I prefer Fikse wheels but that's just my opinion.

^I agree w/Alberto, but Fikse and CCW are at different price points. I do like the CCW line quite a bit, but personally have never been a huge fan of the Classics. Not for the street anyway. To each their own

Btw, if anyone is interested in Fikses, IRP has an account with them, PM me for a price quote

Not to derail the thread, but here are Profil13 in 18x10 +50 w/285 30 Yoko AD08s so you guys can see the fitment:

I thought they were similar but, given Rich's comment, it looks like I was wrong.

I believe the CCW's are lighter than the Fikse's and hence why most prefer to use them for track duty. The price point aside. Myself - 285/30-18 Hoosiers on 18x10 classics all 4 corners.

There is a set of black fikse in the wheel section for dirt cheap (same price as CCW)

Good ole Max Cooper estimates them ~22lb
http://maxcooper.com/rx7/parts_info/ccw18/index.html

Gene Felber at 20.5 not sure if that is with titanium fasteners.
https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-wheels-tires-brakes-20/re-ccw-18x10-new-weight-87189/

Googling around says around 21.5 or so.

Gorgeous rich, as always! I don't know why I like the way they look but I just do So how do you like the 285/30 tire on the street over in your neck of the woods? I'll weigh mine when I get them, the ones I picked up are the "street" version of the wheel which is possibly (probably?) heavier than the "race" version.

Also, have you used the AD08s on autocross or track days? How are they?
