my fc pushes left under accel and drags right slightly decel???

so i've got my car mildly modded for drifting with jic coilovers , 5 lug, lsd, dtss elim bushings, camber links and adjustable camber bar. my allignment is set at

frt
camber 2.8*
caster- max'd with even camber and matched both sides for camber
toe'd slightly in for super jdm offset, lol

rear
camber .25*
toe 0.0

all done on a hunter laser rack at the audi dealer i work at.

my problem is freeway speeds when i accelerate it seems to push to the left. its not pulling, in fact when i hit the gas hard i have to slightly turn the steering wheel right to stay straight down the road. and the opposite happens when i decelerate. i just can't imagine what is causing this. its very slight but gets annoying when you're trying to get your car to drive to work half the week.

dumb question but have you checked the tire pressures?

anything else would be loose components like worn out ball joints, broken link rods, loose wheel bearings, etc.

yep, an LSD with the incorrect axles will also have a similar issue.

its a torsen type tII helical i put in myself. setup to whatever the fsm said to. not even 2000 miles old. run with torco gear oil at the fsm specs, is there a break in period on this type diff? should i change fluid? just inspected it underneath and didn't see anything that appeared loose or worn to that extent it is a '87 with 170k on all the suspension aside from what i listed. maybe a rear ball joint on one of those linkages?

if you used the original axles, your left side is too short and not engaging the differential splines. you need the torsen axles from the FD to go with it.

basically your right wheel is the only drive wheel currently and trying to push you in a neverending left circle while accelerating.. fix it before possibly putting metal debris into the diff.

wow i will def. check that. do you know off hand what the correct length of the stub axle should be for that diff? also i found a small leak in the left rear tire. when at matching pressures the problem is almost unnoticable.

this is about the best i can do for now. there may be some spec on the length in the FSMs. unfortunately it doesn't show how long the FD axles are and need to be. but it does give you an idea of just how different the stub axles are for each of the different types of LSD units.

karak, thanks alot. i actually have the correct length axle, i verified by pulling the stubs and measuring the distance from the seal surface to the c-clip and then measuring how deep in the diff the edge of the splines go. they are engaging and holding the stubs just fine. it turns out the left rear toe control rod? has a slightly bad ball joint and the right rear tire was like 3-4 psi lower in pressure. i'll be junkyarding some control rods or maybe getting some aftermarket ones after the holidays. thanks everyone. now if i can get rid of my p/s buzzer and fix my horn.
