Here's my suggestion: SSR 18x9.5 Competitions, GT7, or GT2. This wheel is available in a +50 offset. Tire size will be 265/35 18 all around. Check out the tire rack.
you sure that with stock suspension set up i'll not be rubbing those tires ?? 9.5 a little wide in the front.. of course I don't know.. just thinking off of what I have read. the 50mm offset make those work ok?
93_R1 ran that setup for quite a while with no issues. As with any wider wheel/tire setup up front, you will have to be careful entering steep driveways or hitting large bumps while turning.
You either live with a setup like that, run a staggered setup, or find 9" wide rims with a +45 to +50 offset that will clear the front brakes. It's not easy finding a good fitment for the FD.

I want the GT-U's as well. I've seen them on an FD before.... can anyone give a definative answer on the offsets? Also been told these rims wont work with upgraded brakes (8.5 front & 10 rear)
