It's a long read, but should be of some help:

The Volk GT-U 18x9 +50 offset is only available in the C-disk, which will not clear the front brake calipers. The B-disk +43 offset 18x9 will probably be ok.

Here's my suggestion: SSR 18x9.5 Competitions, GT7, or GT2. This wheel is available in a +50 offset. Tire size will be 265/35 18 all around. Check out the tire rack.

93_R1 ran that setup for quite a while with no issues. As with any wider wheel/tire setup up front, you will have to be careful entering steep driveways or hitting large bumps while turning.

You either live with a setup like that, run a staggered setup, or find 9" wide rims with a +45 to +50 offset that will clear the front brakes. It's not easy finding a good fitment for the FD.

Volk GT-U is an extremely nice wheel. I used to have a set of my FC, but I sold them (which I now regret). I think I am going with the RPM2s now....

I want the GT-U's as well. I've seen them on an FD before.... can anyone give a definative answer on the offsets? Also been told these rims wont work with upgraded brakes (8.5 front & 10 rear)

The Enkei RPM2 is the only good wheel from the intially stated wheels. I have a set of GTU 18x9 +29 for an EVO here. They are so beautiful. I got a gunmetal set.
