it really depends on how many inches the widebody flairs the car out. some only flair 1 inch, while others flair both fronts and rears 4 inches, etc. Please be more specific.

i guess i'm trying to get an overall opinion for any wide body kits since my business partner is currently in the process to bring his brand to the u.s. market....
which means...what widebody kits are popular amongst fd drivers in the u.s. market?

From what I have seen, the RE-Amemiya 2004 widebody kit is hot in the show scene. Really thats all you're going to have buyer wise, as I have yet to see anyone really track a true widebody, like the previously mentioned one. That, and the Pettit rear flare, which isnt technically "widebody" more or less just a flare, and people are running 18x12 rims on those for the rears with CCW wheels.

The majority of people out here however, have stock body lines, but are running 18x9 to 10 RR, and 18x8.0 to 9.0 FR.

Hope that helps you in some way shape or form.

My setup is with the Pettit flares and I am running 18x11.5 in the back +0 offset, they fit perfectly. I cannot decide if I want to go with a front flare. We shall see. Take it easy.

I will be posting a full build up of my car as it will be going through a huge transformation over the winter. The motor is out right now, getting bridegported, and ready for a TO4R in the next two weeks. Then off for paint, then brakes, and suspension, then wheels and tires. You will see it for sure, just be patient. Take care guys.
