Question Wheel Recommendations for a True Blasberry Car?

Anyone vote for white rims, or is that over the top.

SSR Comps?

I'm open to any ideas in either 17 or 18" trim.

TIA,

-E

Pics of the car are here

I think some nice black rims would look insane on that car.

Thumbs down Hate the Paint Scheme

To each his/her own, but the paint job is NASTY! I never liked those "chameleon" paint jobs...reminds me of the ones on cheezy hotrods...

I guess it's your money

Thanks for the postive input on new wheels, and the constructive post.

Hey...

maybe they can do your stock wheels the same color as the body color?? that would tie everything together nicely

For your chameleon colored car, I would recommend:

A gunmetal type color. Anthracite maybe.
Black would be amazing.

That is pretty much it.

Perhaps I should clarify: 18" RX7 sises AND widths; those appear to be 17" in the pic, and who knows how wide. I'm noit gonna get rid of my SSRs for another 9" rim.

I PM'd Rishie about these weeks ago and never heard.

I'm definitely leaning the anthracite way. I dig on the O.Z. Superleggeras, but just not on the FD.

Searching forum for anthracite now...

Why not go with CCW? He'll powdercoat them whatever color you want and it'll probably be less pricey than a set of Volks.

Some Forgelines(sp?) with gunmetal centers would look sweet.. But they're like 1k a wheel..

http://www.forgeline.com/wheels/wc3.html

I think you definately want something black or dark grey though. Or you could go to the other end of the spectrum if you like flash and get some polished RH CP-035R's..

Talking See that's two votes

The paint and body shop could probably powder-coat your stock wheels in the same paint scheme.

Because your paint color changes so much depending on the light conditions, no one color of wheels will complement your paint job...

Black will appear too black, Anthracite will appear too light, Silver will clash...

Definitely stay away from white...

If you can't get your stock wheels powder coated the same body color, then I'd recommend highly polished 10x 18-inch wheels...that's the only finish that will put the BLING in your bling bling paint job

Definitely go with a set of Volk TE37 Mags; extra lightweiht and extra sexy. There's a skyline with a similar paintjob and white TE37's in the new suprestreet if you want to see what it could look like w/ white wheels...

Tony Yeh w/ RXecret7 already has the TE-37 Mag's on his car. Same paint scheme too. So, someone has already beat him to it.

I'm still sticking for the Anthracite finish. Look into the Advan Model 7s. Those are awesome wheels and come in a anthracite finish.

on that car i think some nice bronze rims would just look SICK... let me go photoshop some on i'll be back in a few with them...

well didn't come out as nice as i thought, so no pics... i still think the bronze could work, but now i'm thinking like a black chrome would be best if you have the money look into the Racing Hart CP-035R rims... i would be so jealous
