WHEEL issues...did search, but not many threads
*I did not put this in the exterior forum because this is kind of performance related. I would like everyone to think of wheels; first by performance and then by looks and style. Thanks for your help.*
I personally love the look of the 5 Zigen HYPER 5ZR wheels. They are 19". I would like to get 17" wheels, but I can't find any wheels that I think look good for 17". If anyone has any ideas for me or whether or not those HYPER 5ZR's would be cool or not to put on the car, please let me know!!! Also, if you have any other wheel ideas-input would be nice. Thanks again,
Craig

NOT A DUMB IDEA AT ALL
Sorry, I didn't think of that one...didn't really see/think of it when I was skimming which forum to put it in. LOL Thanks,
Craig
P.S. Is there anyway for me to move it to that forum?

Since performance is a priority, do you have any idea what these H5ZRs weigh? Other than that, here are some (readily available) lightweight wheels (~17 lbs. and less each. For reference, stock 16" "reinforced" wheels are ~15 lbs.):
SSR Competitions
Volk CE28N
Volk TE37
CCW P4
5Zigen FN01R-C

P.S. Also, a few more lightweight wheels come to mind: Volk SE37K, BBS RG-R, and Enkei RPF1.

I don't know, maybe type "VOLK wheels" or "CCW wheels" into Google!!!!!!!!
I like helping people, but when they don't even try themselves it is quite pathetic. It's not like we all just got the internet last week.

YOU SHOULD BE A COMEDIAN
Did you ever think that maybe I did type them in and I got a whole lot of personals...like people talking about their own cars??? You shouldn't be so critical. If you are not helping, you should just shut up. Thanks,
Craig

Tip when searching for wheels:
Only use the the brand name and model name.
Volk CE28N
ssr competition
If you throw in a generic term like wheel or rim, you'll get much worse results.
Also, if you just want to look at wheels, see sig. Manufacturer sites are also listed for most brands on wheelspecs if you want to check for new wheels or sizes we aren't listing yet.
EDIT: Also check the gallery on this site to get an idea of what wheels look like on the actual car. Having an FD helps too because so many manufacturers have promo pics of FD's with the newest rims.
I'll assume you're new to automotive forums since you didn't know there was a suspension/wheel/brake forum. Expect to get flamed - consider people's hostility to questions an initiation. Use the search feature prior to asking questions; most have been asked and answered. Most people are here to help, but answering the same question repeatedly will annoy everyone at least every once in awhile.

If you are truly interested in performance, then you should be looking at 17-18" wheels, not show car rims.
SSR makes some of the best reasonable cost wheels around. The GT-1 in 17x9 +45 offset or the Competitions in 17x8.5/17x9.5 work great.

No...I wasn't looking for show car rims. I just heard that they were actually good for the car. But I really actually wanted 17's preferably and maybe 18's. Also, Paalo, I knew this forum was here, but I was rushing to get out the door on my way to work and yes, I did search, but didn't find much. Thank you for the advice (BTW I have been on these forums for half a year now). Sorry for sounding like that much of a newbie. Thanks for all the help all,
Craig
