probably spring/shocks combo will do. Do a search on them... you'll probably find tons of info. I'm gonna be running Racing Beat springs and KYB AGX shocks myself, but they don't provide 2" of drop. I don't think 2" of drop is really a good idea though since stock FC already sits pretty low. If you don't wanna scrape everywhere that is.

2" drop is stupid.
How old are you?
Extreme drops over 1" will cause negative camber problems that you cannot dial out.  You will end up eating tires up every month or so.

John, I don't know what set up you currently have, so I'm doing some guessing here.

This is what works for me. Tokico Illumina shocks on all 4 corners. Eibach ProSport Spring set, Racing Beat front and rear bar, urethane control arm bushings (front only for now).

Logic behind this: I drive my -7 during "decent weather" in Minnesota. It's my daily driver from about mid April until the end of October. I also do road trips with it and autocross in C-Street Prepared.

The dampers are adjustable with 5 click settings; full soft all around is quite liveable on the street. I can tune some handling by stiffening the rears for autocross. The Eibach springs lower the car about .8". Remember, streets have bumps and driveways have ramps.

I found that the car handles lots better with the larger Racing Beat bars on both ends. The urethane bushings make bumps felt, but it helps maintain the geometry of the suspension.

Just my $.02

I am looking at a Tokico combo being sold at rx7.com for about $580.00 (springs and shocks/struts all around).

I would consider this setup along with a urethane bushing kit (an additional $100 investment). This will help stiffen the ride a bit and help to off-set the lower stance of the car.
