what swaybar is this? FD
do you think these arms would bolt up to the main bar?

my buddy sent me this email about that RB bar:

my buddy sent me this email about that RB bar:
It’s a 34 mm hollow bar that Racing Beat used to offer. The arms were poorly engineered and eventually these arms break on fatigue. RB stopped selling this particular bar for that reason. Drop by if you want to see the remains of one of these…one arm snapped on me while autoxing a few years ago. I thought the differential had broken as the grip on the rear was oscillating from right to left under acceleration. I guess it was because the roll stiffness had became relatively so low in the front that the fast increasing weight transfer in the rear and the resulting loss of grip at the tires was too much for the Torsen differential to handle – just a guess... This weird behavior disappeared once I put back my faithful 1.25” solid ST bar.

Also, are their pricing on those arms pretty reasonable?? This might be a good cheaper alternative to Tri-point sways... Great find!

IIRC Speedway sells the exact same bars used by Tripoint. I think they were 35" length, 1.25" OD or something around there. The three thicknesses used by TP are 0.125", 0.188" and 0.250". Then you need the bent arms to reach out to the swaybar links.
I could measure some of this on my TP bar if it would help. Keeping it the same OD as the TP would allow you to use David Breslau's solid bronze bushing mounts, which work awesome with this bar.
I've seen an RB bar in person, and I'm pretty sure it was larger OD, but it's been a while. I doubt it is compatible with the TP size splined arms.

That would be very helpfull, I am sure there are a few of us who would really appreciate you taking the time to measure up the bar.

I have an old Racing Beat front tubular sway bar. The passenger side aluminum arm broke on a hard corner. A common problem as reported earlier. I went out and measured it. The bar apears to be 1 3/8" OD with 48 splines. The arms are interchangeable on this bar so I've kept it around thinking I'd buy someone's broken one and salvage a good arm.
