what are some good brake pads

whats up guys i already did a search couldn't find anything. Ive got stock calipers all around and my pads are getting low. Are there some aftermarket pads that will due or just go with oem. Im not looking for performance braking just good budget ones are at least the ones that are the best bang for the buck. Thx

I used to recommend Hawk HPS for your application but I have really come to dislike Hawk pads.

I would see how much OEM pads are from Malloy Mazda and go with those if they're not too expensive. Good aftermarket choices for street-use only are Axxis Ultimate, Porterfield R4-S. Some people like EBC Greenstuff pads as well.

That's not exactly helpful considering he's running the car on the street only!

I would recommend the Bonez pads from http://www.rx7.com

They don't dust as much as other pads (namely Hawks), the dust is easy to clean, very good bite for the street. It's rumored they are rebagged Metal Masters but either way they are good pads.

I'll give you a killer deal on Some Endless Vita Nuova Pads for your street car. PM me if you're interested. Initial response is phenomenal. These pads don't require any heat to work. They are quiet and pedal feel is great.

We're doing end of year clearance on all overstock.

Hawk HPS or AXXIS metal master for all round performance street, Hawk HP+ or or Project Mu B-force for high performance street and light track/solo racing.

DOn't forget rotors.. alot of rotors now are NOT a certified metal compound and most ( including cheap Brembo lic. rotors) are coming out of china using uncertified metal). even with high quality, new pads a bad rotor will nullify any gains, and end up either cracking or warping. A few of the consumer price point performance Companies I still trust to supply certified metal brake rotors are Euro Rotor, Rotortech, Powerslot & OEM.

Safe to say that most stuff offered on Ebay is Chineese or Indian garbage metal. Thier are quite a few companies that will sell brembo only to supply the 'brembo' lic. product out of china.. ask for a certificate of certification for the metal used.. if they can't supply it or get it from thier supplier then walk away.
