225/45 17 would be the proper aspect ratio. What size/offset wheels do you have?

Those are some outrageous size's for a car that's very light! Has everyone fallen into the "bigger is better" mantra???

I'll be running 245/40/17's at the front and 255/40/17's in the rear. Have the 99spec OEM wheels.

Want to cure a bit of the oversteer the car has. Try to keep the car as close to OEM as possible.

Roll the front fenders and coilovers with proper off set wheels. Look out now, I said proper offset...... here comes the trolls.

275 is not an outrageous size for a an FD, trust me, it can use every bit of it.

I do want to point out that running 275/40 17 up front (or any other larger diameter tire) can greatly increase the probability of the tire smashing into the fender liner on road dips. A lot of people used to (and still do) run this size in race tires up front for track use, but 275/40 17 race tires are usually smaller diameter than 275/40 street tires.

I would not run 275/40 17 up front on the street.

If you look on the under-side of the fender as it curls under, you'll see a little lip. The tires can/will catch on that (which will damage your fender and tire). That needs to be rolled back so larger tires won't get caught on it.

Just take it to a body shop and ask them to roll your fenders. It would probably cost about $60 to do all 4 or around half that for just the front.

You could also roll the fenders with a blowtorch and a hammer. Just take your time, and don't crack the paint.

Some people also use baseball bats.
