I am looking at some new tires and I want some that give me a ton of traction and grip. This is the most important thing....I don't really drive my car that much in the rain so....
plus I love to drive down twisty roads and dont' drag my car that often so these are the things I am looking for. I am also trying to stay relatively cheap.
Thanks for any help

S03s! S03s! S03s! Did I mention I like S03s?
Seriously...the BFG tires have always been OE on heavy American cars. Nothing against that. I don't think they have a whole lot of technology in them.
Now if you move to BFG's high end Michelins, then you're talking serious performance.
I like the Bridgestones because of their extended wet performance capabilities from the softer tread compound that gets exposed as the tires wear. The wet grip lasts even after the tires are half worn. That's more than what my old Pirelli P-Zeros could do in the wet with 3/4 of the tread remaining!
Try the S03s. I bet you'll never go back to any other tire...
FWIW, I don't have experience with the S03s, but I plan to get them once my Yokohama AVS I's wear out (which will be awhile, since I just bought them)
MaxCooper has the S03s now, and could probably vouch much better than my diatribe
Good luck!

I have the BFG g-Force KDW's ... and that's about as much as I wanna say about them. They're good, grippy tires; but, the advertised better wet traction is b.s.
On dry road, I have no complaints about them. I could ask for a little more traction, but, for the price I got 'em ... well, like I said, I can't complain. Heard lots of good things about the S03's and the P-Zero's, but for people like me who use their FD as daily drivers as well as auto-x cars; the high price tag and lower tread life makes them less practical.
All-in-all, KDW's are pretty good streetable tires. If I had my way, I'd go with the Firestone Firehawks ... but they don't make them in 245/45R 16's. Firestone does provide the 225/50R 16's, but I like 245/45's bite more. 245/50's they do; but I prefer not to have the speedo error. (Got enough speeding tickets, thank you very much.)

s03's look nice but $180 a tire is pretty steep
for 225 up front and 245 in rear I am looking at
165*2+180*2=$690+mounting, balancing, etc. That just seems a bit much for me
