Wanted Pics of Volk GTP 17x9" 45mm on FD
I've seen these in 17x8? and 17x10, the 10's looked nice but the 8'ish ones weren't very deep looking. I also didn't know the offset.
I'm considering buying a set of these wheels but I really want to know what this wheel in 45mm 17x9" looks like on an FD.
Thanks,
Wade

Thanks for the help guys!
The dish may look better on 10" but I am only interested in 9" ~45mm offset. I want to run the same wheels and tires on all corners so I can rotate them easily. I use A032R tires and get no more than 10k miles on a set, I'd like to run 255/40.
I'd go with 10" but I don't think I can run those on the front with much chance of success. And even the 10's I've seen on the rears this particular wheel appeared to have too narrow of a tire anyway, not sure if this was for fender clearance or to save money.
ARD T2, 44mm would be fine, 1 mm isn't gonna make any difference.
So is Eddie Vargas on this forum?
Thanks,
Wade

HAHA... Series7 let me borrow your digital cam... and I'd be happy to post some pics for everyone. The dish on my rears (18 X 10) is pretty sweet. Not exactly sure what offset. My fronts (18X8) are not as impressive, as to be expected.

Mild7,
Can you find out your offset? I'd be surprised if those 10" you have on the back would fit on the front. Max has a very large offset (moving the wheel inward) and smaller diameter springs (they won't fit with stock sized springs) AND he had contact and adjusted his ride height. I have stock diameter Eibach springs, no height adjustment.

Wade... I'm not quite sure what offset it is... I never asked. But the guy who sold them to me sold me the size recommended in the Volk catalog. My 18 X 10's do not rub in the back... at all (even with a full load). And yes, there is a significant "lip" on that sucker. My car is also lowered with Eibachs. Wish I could get a digital camera from someone and get some pics for ya.

Mild7,
I didn't mean to suggest those 10s would rub in the back, I said I'd be surprised if the 10's you had on the back would fit on the front. I'd most like to have 17x9" 41 or 45mm offset on all four corners to make it easy to rotate frequently, but I'd still appreciate *any* GT-P/FD pictures you can supply.
It's had to be sure about how a wheel is going to look on your car if you haven't seen it in the same size/offset in person.
Thanks,
Wade

Wade, sorry for the misunderstanding. You're right... there's not way in hell the 18X10" would fit up front... my 18 X 8's already rub, even after attempting to roll the fenders with a maglight. haha.
I've tried to locate some pics for you... but they're not of the best quality.
