VOLTEC: good, or bad?

i can't seem to find much info on them and i was wondering if they were worth much (generaly) im lookin at a 17x8/9 and they look decent. anyone have them? seems like there common in other countrys, this is why im interested in them they seem uncommon.

uncommon = can't find replacement when you ruin one of them and your whole set of wheels is worthless

I've never heard of them, good luck. There's a difference between uncommon and being an off-brand. If they were high quality wheels, I'm sure they would be a known brand.

i see them in yahoo auctions alot. and the brand new versions of the rims that im lookin at are worth around of a 1400

$1400? There's quite a few nice high quality wheels in that price range....

Not true, if its a true multi-peice wheel.
You can always find replacement barrels or use your own custom sizes.
