Volk Racing Gram light 57 Pro

Hi All,

Does anyone know how long is the waiting period for Gram light 57 Pro (color Gold) order?

I have placed my order since September 2004 and the store I place the order (http://www.f1motorsports.com/) still can't get me a firm answer on the delivery date on rear wheels (18X10; offset +38).
I am kind angry now and consider cancel the order if they can't fulfill on time.

Any feedback, experience and current waiting period and location where you to get these wheel from will be highly appreciated!!

Can't answer your question, but waiting a LONG time for Gram Lights seems to be the norm:

Thanks Speedking!

I've always wonder why these Gram lights have so long of order lead time?? Maybe it is popular?? But I haven't seen a lot of people on the fourm have them.
I've asked the store manager the same question and even they can't get me a firm answer. Any order with 20+ weeks lead time is unreasonable to me.
They called me this afternoon and told me Volk USA will have my wheel by 3/1/05 and someone from the store have to go there to pick it up and then ship to me. I am cross my finger on this one and hope it'll happen so I can get my project start soon.

No problem.

And who knows why the lead time for Gram Lights is so long? I'm curious to know the answer, myself. They must have only ONE guy manufacturing all of the orders, and he only works part-time.

Good luck on your delivery time. Those wheels are nice, and when you get them on the car, I'm sure you'll forget about the wait and will be happy with the purchase.

I think this is one of a very interesting topic for people to discuss as it has been talked about few times in the past. I've saw many people's email asking about where to get certain brand of wheels and soon after, there was the "representative" of that brand join the conversation and telling them where they can get it from. I wonder if we have people who work with Volk that can address this question so some of us can rest in peace once for all!

You can always contact Mackin directly and let them know you submitted an order through X company. See if that company is direct and hope to get a lead time for them.

We have a set on order as well right now but in Custom FD friendly offsets 18x9 and 10. I would expect that custom lead time to be longer than the standard fitments.

Yeah Mike, stop post them so I can get my order sooner ;-p J/K
Maybe too many people order them after you post them.
Johgar, I think Mike (rotorboy) is a friend with the Volk US distributor so he got the connection.

As far as custom size goes, yes, I agree that will take longer but....20 weeks? That is a bit too long in my opinion.
