Volk GT7 18x10r/18x9f, what other modifications needed?

I would like to run:

front - 18x9 +43 offset B

rear - 18x10 +38 offset C

I know I will have to roll fenders and am willing to do so

tires:

front - 255/35/18

rear - 285/30/18

I am running pettit trak pro springs w r1 shocks, but i still have the r1 springs as well, i am running stock front and rear swaybars. Are there any other modifications that will need to be made in order to run this fitment? Will I destroy my front fenders and what do i need to do in order not to destroy them? My main goal is to have as much lip as possible!

Rynberg seems to be the guru, input on this fitment would be great

It seems like this will be possible but w/ some problems turning and entering driveways and such, i am not afraid of hurting the car i just like to know what all i will be getting myself into before i find out myself!

Thank you for any input!

I think the front will be fine.

However, the rear looks like you would need 2.5" coils and will still rub on the fender. You need at least a +50 back there.

The 18x10 +38 will rub the rear fenders, but should clear the suspension with no problems. The fronts may also rub on bumps while turning. Also, the Volk B-disc will not fit over upgraded brakes, so keep that in mind.

As mentioned above, you will have to roll the rear fenders, and likely the fronts as well, for those wheel fitments. You might be better off running the 18x10 +44 C-disk wheel. You will still have 81mm of lip!!!

So which offset is optimal for a Big Brake Kit, I'm planning on getting the STOPTECH 13" front kit once it comes out.

Offset isn't the only factor, although a lower offset usually indicates more caliper clearance. It's the design of the wheel itself -- how the spokes curve from the hub plate. In this case, Volk specifically states that the B-disk will not fit larger calipers than the base stock. Unfortunately, the A-disk wheels in this model line do not have high enough offsets to fit properly in wider widths.

Stoptech has a template to see if your wheels will clear. That doesn't help much if you are still in the market. My advice would be to contact a GOOD wheel vendor who should be able to provide wheel info enough for you to figure out whether the calipers will clear or not.
