Volk CE28 N 17x9.5 +47 275/40 front rolled fenders?
Is it possible to fit Volk CE28 N 17x9.5 +47 with 275/40 tires with rolled fenders and 2.5" coils in the front fenders. This seems like it is plauseable to me considering that a 18x10 +50 fits. If not what about Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position in 265/40?
Thanks and it is great to be apart of this board!

Hey I'm up for some 245/45/16 SO3's.
By the way whats up with all the 17's and 18's with the big tires. As I understand it the stock size or the + size above is about the best handling you can get out of an FD. All the issues about rolling fenders and stuff, + the cost of the wheels. Whats the real scoop?

To get the most grip possible requires big tires. I am not a fan of staggered setups (not a fan of understeer) and so I would ideally like to run 275s all around. CCW's might be a good option as well. But I like the volks better and they are also lighter.
285/30 18s fit up front because they are the same diameter as stock. 275/40s are nearly 3/4" taller than stock -- therefore they will rub much easier than 285/30 18s.
Also, the guys that are running 285/30 18s have VERY stiff front suspensions and are running close to stock ride heights as well.

How much more clearence can I get out of rolling the fenders? Will this make the difference so that I can run at least a 17 265/40 f on volks? These wheels are great and so to are their weights. I also plan on running about -1.5 camber.
Thanks for the help,
Andrew
