if you go back to that link i posted earlier, i think you'll see that bcool had 17x9F 17x10R...

he managed to keep stock fenders (with rolling and pulling of course). i guess it depends on what size rubber you want to run and how far you want to go to make **** fit. :P

Volks Ce28n
17x8.0 +33 w/ 225-45-17
17x9.0 +35 w/ 255-40-17

Clears stock fenders, and should clear coilovers.

Done deal.

No. I dont have these wheels, but I have wheels that are close this set up. I think 9" in the front is too wide and would really require you to roll your fenders. Unless you are running some sort of camber.

If you run +25 offsets on both front and rear on a 9in front and and 10in rear, you won't rub, that's using stock fenders.

lower offset makes the wheel sit farther away from the car.

it can affect the tire sizes available to you because making the wheel sit out farther makes the tire sit out farther. making the tire sit out too far may result in your tire kissing your fender under compression.

ok cool, so 17x8.0 +33 w/ 225-45-17 and 17x9.0 +35 w/ 255-40-17 are going to fit fine and the offset is going to be ok with tire compression?

Didn't see it mentioned but there are FORGED versions of the FNO1r's. The fno1rc's are cast, hence the C at the end of the model.

But as far as looks, ce28's get my vote.

just out of curiosity, what is the lowest offset guys with rx7's run. I used to have an s14, and on my rear fenders i had 17x10 +12 fno1's and i had to pull the fenders slightly. I really liked them btw. but like everyone says, if moneys no object, the volks are very nice. You used to be able to pick up a brand new set of fno1's staggered 17x9, 17x10 for like 800 shipped..
thanks for any input.

My friend / coworker's FD with 17x8" front / 17x10" +35mm offset all around FN01R-C's:

Fits perfect, no rubbing. We sell 5Zigen wheels as well as the Volk wheels. The 5Zigen's cost about 1/4 of the Volks. The quality is good on the 5Zigens, they offer a wide range of sizes and offsets, and the price is very reasonable.

The Volks are definitely better in every regard, but they should be considering that they cost 4x as much.
