Veilside Wheels ALL MODELS Discontinued!
Hey guys,
Just did a little surf around the veilside website and all their wheels are being discontinued and they are stickin to body kits and power parts.
In a way I think it's sad their last wheel was crazy ( The Baccarat) and even though its Veilside if they would have made a 18' wheel I woulda been saving pennies to get them.
Just a little wave to Veilside

Agreed but still.
Well more business for
Fiske, CCW, BBS, Enkei, Rays, Advan, Volk and all the other who actually make good wheels.

Best depends on what you are doing....
if you want a race wheel then Fiske,BBS would be my personal choices ( Fiske Fm-10's on my car).
Advan is a GOOD wheel don't get me wrong.
Consider this Fiske's and BBS's cost 1,000 and 800$ per wheel respectively while Advans ae around 650$.

Vileside makes "SOME" nice stuff but it's few a far inbetween i know falken made a rim called "Atlantic City" looks liek the ugly rim of the F+F RX 7 so ugly, one truck at my work has it, i want to drive it off a cliff. i hate alot fo stuff vileside makes, i consider them the body makers that cilderen like, and their rims are horrible on cars, i just wanna gag, i'm happy though they are making a move in the right direction, hopefully they will stop uglfyling nice cars with their body kits now, the R32 GTR comes to mind as does both there RX 7 (FD 3S) kits, i've seen a kids face get plowed into a brick wall and look better than those. my $0.02

Hmm well i would have to disagree i really like the nsx fotrune kit from them.
I have seen it in person and its absolutely beautiful. Now back on topic, i never did like any other their wheels, but they make a select few good looking body kits and their new seats they make are really nice.

^ as for that nsx.... maybe it would look good with some other wheels and i hate the lambo doors, unless they are on a lambo. you cant realy appreciate this nsx with the doors open like that. just my .02 cents

That NSX kit looks nice... but is completely useless when driving. With a nose sticking that far out from the wheel base, and that low... you're not going to be able to go up any sort of incline.

love the braaaap
I don't get why people around here have a problem with veilside. Is it because the FD in the Fast and the Furious had a veilside kit on it? Apart from the wheels, the car in that movie looked real good, and I personally like the movie itself, but thats besides the point. Why do none of you like the Veilside kits.

RX-7 fortune kit. Pure hotness. Gotta admit that it makes the 7 look like an exotic.

A lot of Veilside stuff tends to be a bit Goddy, sp? I think that is the main reason. Although it's japanese and respected by some I think it's still on the "ricier" side of the spectrum.
As to answer the best wheel brand question:
Most Advans are cast wheels made by Enkei Japan. For a one piece cast wheel it is very expensive. I'm curious to see why one would think they are the best wheel in the world. They do have great styles, but strength and so forth I cannot comment on when looking at the price of the wheels.
Now best wheels out there, BBS Forged Wheels like the LM also made in Japan at what i'm told is the most advanced forging factory out there. Then I would have to say Rays factory of Japan.
I do believe that Enkei has the most advanced Casting Technology out there. Hands down. For a Cast wheel Enkei MAT series, Advans, etc.... are very high quality and very lightweight.
Fikse, Kinesis, HRE, etc.... are also very good wheels but from what I understand there have been comments made about some of these wheels being banned from SCCA? I don't know for certain just heard from some reliable sources that there were issues.

Veilside Fortune looks "ok" but there a lot of much nicer widebody kits.
