ToyoŽ Proxes T1-S ?
I've racked up about 7k miles on my toyos T1S tires and they are pretty great in all aspects except i wish the sidewalls were stiffer. they've held up to lots of hard city driving and 2 tracks days and have tons of tread left.
I've liked my Toyo T1-S but they are not the grippiest tire out there anymore. They have excellent wear characteristics, ride pretty well, and are fairly quiet. They do handle predictably to me, in dry or wet.
That tire blows. I had it on my turbo miata. I got better traction out of the stock tires than those. Seriously. They were horrible in the rain too. I would never by toyos again. BFG TKs from now on.

Well thanks for the input guys, I am sure most will agree on the BFG TKs. However I am trying to find a good balance between price and performance. I just thought the Toyos looked good from what I have read. I just wanted to hear some RX owners responses to these tires. Well I think I am going to go with the Toyos so should I still get the T1-S or the T1-R? Or does it really matter..? Anyway thanks again for the input guys.
Ok, there is no such tire as the BFG TK, did you mean the KD? In that case, yes, it certainly has more dry grip than the T1-S. It also costs 75% more and has less mileage.
The T1-R is better than the T1-S.

I had T1's on my FC and liked them. I felt the S03's I subsequently had on the FC performed better in the dry, however they are significanly heavier and more expenseive.
In round 3 I purchased T1R's for the Fd and expect them to provide 90% of the performance for much less $$$'s.
