inner tie rod...

Hi, i did a search and didnt find how to take off a inner tie rod on my FC. the car is on jackstands right now. i took off the outer tie rod end. I took off the boot...now what do i do? thnxs!

Use a monkey wrench to remove the inner tie rod. You will have to turn the steering wheel to find the right angle. I forget if there is a locking tab on the tie rod or not. But if there is not a locking tie rod, make sure to use thread locker on the inner tie rod. If there is a locking tab, bend the tab straight. When you install the inner tie rod make sure you dont grab it by the joint, the part that looks line a universial joint. Grab it on the square part. Dont forget to put back the boot, then the jam nut on the innter tie rod before you put on the outter tie rod.
