Too much? Need opinion on these new shoes..

I am probably going to buy these rims no matter what, but should I keep them or sell them?

Pros - Genuine BBS three pieces, huge tires, 18s rear, 17s front, very flashy.

Cons - just bought new Yokos for stock rims, these need new tires (275/35-18 and 215/40-17) big $, heavy (no track days for these!), look like chrome factory C5 rims, very flashy (I'm 35).

What do you think? Yeah or nay?

215/40-17, is that a typo or is it really 215's in the front with 275's in the rear?

I think they look pretty sharp. But if your FD is really stock, those suckers will really slow you down. I say stay with the stock rims

Not a typo. The fronts need bigger tires. Any ideas on a good size for the front?

For regular driving, these are way too heavy. Maybe just for special occasions?

(Hks downpipe this weekend or maybe next weekend.)

I'd say Nay. Too narrow front tire might be becasue of too narrow front rim. As you mentioned the set is too flashy, you meant you're not looking for showing off the car...so, why hurt the handling w/ unmatched (for FD) front and rear wheels.
