Tire Sticker Left On Tire

I see this on so many of these TV auto shows:
they mount tires on the rims, put them on the car, and always leave the plastic sticker on the tire thread. Then they go drive the car that way which pollutes the streets when the stickers wear off.

What the frack is going on?

Yep lazy. When I did tire work for a living I would always remove the stickers before balancing.

You ever tried removing one of them? 9 times out of ten it's gonna take you an hour to do because they use such strong glue with such shitty material, especially on the cheaper tires, that they come off in little slivers instead of one whole piece. Besides, realistically it's not going to do anything for pollution anyways...It's gonna slowly shred into a million pieces and get blown away anyways, to be swept up by something or another later down the road. And all of our trash gets thrown in a pile and buried anyways, not like it makes any difference WHERE it gets buried lol.

I buy my tires online and have a local race shop mount and balance them for me.
Thus I remove the tags myself. Been doing this for many years. NEVER had problems getting them off.

But then I buy the top line tires for my FD, not cheap crap.
