Suspension upgrade: question about spacers and front camber plates or kit?
Hello, i drive an 87 na fc
I just recently picked up a set of tokico blues wrapped in tein springs used.
My concern is as follows:
1. I have 16x7 205 55 (federal tires which run a little fatter even though its the same size) with 43et offset all around. I'm pretty sure i have to run a small spacer in the front to clear the new suspension but i will have to find out after i put them on. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this.
2. Since the drop will be about 1 in to about 1 1/2 inches, i assume there will be a need to correct the camber.
In the rear, i already have an adjustable camber link (so im good)
In the front, i have stock camber bolts. I have some people telling me that its better to keep these stock bolts as they are already adjustable. Others are telling me i should source the top camber plates off of blown front coilovers.
Any experience or stories or set up guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Please, i want to do it right. I rather spend a little extra on the parts to make sure i have a good long run status.
thanks in advance
