I'm in search of a new set of tires for my '89 TII, and I've narrowed it down to the Kumho Ecsta 712. However, I'm not sure what tire size to go with. Stock is 205/55/16, but how would 215/40/16s feel and perform? Would they wear faster? How about 205/45, 205/50, or even 225/40s? I'm looking for good performance, but cost must be kept to a minimum, and a longer tire life is desireable.
