Third gen front bar for autox?
I just ran on race tires for the first time this weekend. Rex on race rubber is a beautiful thing!
Next up will be an aftermarket front anto-roll bar to go with the Konis already on the car. Any first hand experiences anyone can tell me about? I know there are at least half a dozen different bars available.
I run Super Stock, so I can replace the front bar only.
Thanks.

i am using the racing beat front sway bar. I like it alot, handles nice, plus, it looks pretty for anybody who happens to be underneath your car.
be careful though, the stock front sway bar mounts are a weak link when adding a stiffer front sway bar. It is common for them to break under the increased stress of a larger front sway bar. I had mine break on me, and I have spoke to 2 other people who have had the same problem. I would HIGHLY recommend using a GOOD aftermarket sway bar mounts or reinforcement. If your sway bar mount breaks on you in the middle of a turn, then that could end up being very dangerous.
There are a couple of companies that make sway bar mounts for the FD. after a little research, I went with the CWC widefoot sway bar mounts from Crooked Willow. They are quality pieces and the design is excellent. They have extra support braces that prevent side-to-side movement which seems to be the main cause of broken mounts. Also, they raise the sway bar up about an inch for better clearance. They cost around $300, it seems like alot for soemthing that doesnt make your car faster, but it might save your car from going off-road.
Dont bother with the racing beat front swaybar brace, I had it on my car and it broke along with the swaybar mount.
good luck
