I was thinking about the Fikse speedsilver.

However, the pic on the website isn't too good. Does anyone have any better pictures?

Any other "silver" type of colors or recommendations?

The Fikse speed silver is a Fikse proprietary finish. The closest you might get from Volk is their "mercury silver"...

they won't do the Mercury silver in a 18x10.5 in the back....

Despite the fact that I am going with a custom color...they will not do it Mercury Silver. iforged has a "speedsilver" that supposedly looks like Fikse's color.

However Volk will try to match the color as close as possible...

I don't get why Volk will try and mtch a custom color, but won't just use one of the ones they already have if you ask for it. WTF?

Manny! I was going to do that too and spoke to the person that Jimlab ordered it from...it's just that I didn't want the wheels to be so high maintenance with the need to polish them all the time.

That mercury silver would have been the ticket!

Ptrhahn, yea Volk has this wierd thing that they won't paint a custom color with their own color unless a group order is done (10sets or more)

Manny, I sent you a PM...did you get it? I had some questions before I order the wheels.

Any other silver or other color suggestions????

I got it. I'm no longer responding to wheel offset questions unless people want to hire me as an FD wheel/tire consultant--SERIOUSLY.

As my last "free" post, and b/c I like you, 7racer--here's the info you need.

http://rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/cgi/...odelName=CE28N

Scroll down to the bottom. The star denotes offsets that will clear the large front calipers of Japan spec FDs. As you can see the 47-mm offset is starred. Thus you will be fine with front brake caliper clearance. The rear brake calipers won't be an issue.

Since it's highly improbable that anyone here would actually hire me for $250, don't be surprised if I don't PM reply to any of your wheel offset or tire questions.

I suggest PM'ing rynberg, dclin, and DamonB if you want free advice LOL

Of course all the info you need is here in this forum, so spend a little time mining for it.

You might even learn a thing or too about wheel offsets LOL

You've really got to wonder about the logic of business practices that prevent your potential customers from getting what they want even when its no skin off your *** to provide it.

Thanks Manny....sorry about the PM then. I have been to the website...and thought I had all the numbers worked out and check. However, when I was planning to order them...and the sales person says "those sizes arn't recommended...and you are stuck with them if they don't fit" kinda freaked me out.
