Which Teins? S-tech, or the new HiTech?

Save up and get the FLEX. First off it will help the handling out much more. The upper pillow mounts and full strut assembly just looks 200% more sturdy than stock (you would laugh at the difference once they are removed). Second installing springs is a bitch... spring compressor, installing the whole coil over is easy... 15 nuts if that. Third you can use the EDFC which lets you adjust your strut dampening from inside the car.

You don’t want to put something on and just upgrade later, I was a little uneasy about spending that amount of cash on a set of coil overs but now it would be my first mod if I had another 7. I even have my friend looking for a 7 and he wants to get the coil overs first.

i would think you'd want just the opposite... lower the rear more than the front... the back of these cars is JACKED.

The S-tech are nice if you're simply looking for a bit of lowering. I don't know if you have a base, touring, or R1, but I imagine if you have a base or touring you'll notice a nice handling difference. I haven't seen them on an fd but I have seen them on a 240, sentra, and a few other cars and they're a nice drop.

If/when you upgrade your shocks, consider Koni yellows so thatif you don't like the way it sits, you can adjust a little... i did that with my old eibachs.

i just installed a set of tein s tech springs on my fd yesterday. looks great. there's about 5.-1 wheel gap in the front and about 2 in the rear. i didn't even need a spring compressor to put the springs back on! it rides almost like stock too.

I'm thinking about getting the s-tech's for my FC instead of the Eibach prokit because it will save me 60 bucks. could anyone tell me if the springs are much different or which is better and what not?

oh and whats the spring rate for the prokit eibachs? thanks
