Tein EDFC
I think its way worth it and would be much easier and more accurate to adjust them since you would be able to adjust them on the fly being able to test while adjusting. This way you can get the feel you want and the performance you need right then and there.

you can't adjust them on the fly. if you adjust them while moving it runs the risk of breakign your dampers and voiding your warranty according to tein. it's not any more accurate than doing it yourself either. i've had my coilovers for over a year now and it's really no big thing living without and EDFC. i actually prefer not to have one. just one more electronic thing to break.

You don't NEED a turbo timer. It's just something nice to have to save time. This is sort of the same. The nice thing about the EDFC is it has pre-sets for different kinds of driving like city, country and one other. I should have the suspension installed tonight on my car, but the engine isn't in yet so it'll be a little while before I can post about how I liked it. Im sure others on the fourm have this combo though. Woah I wrote a lot.

If you've got other stuff to do first like engine work then use that 300 towards something else. You can always add the EDFC later. But with the FC the strut sits behind the rear speaker so it's probally hard to adjust. It might make life easier if you need to adjust.
Does anybody have a picture of the EDFC motors installed?
when mounted can the rear covers be placed over them, or would they need to be trimmed

basically I don't want to try to hack the interior pieces.
P.S. this is not my car, but you get the point of wanting a clean interior.

So other than whether they are useful or not, does anyone know what the difference between the 4 models is? I have a FC vert and really want to run this setup, but I'm not sure if there is a "right" model to get. Thanks for the info!
Here you go, but with Raceshop rollbar included. FYI, shock tower covers touch the tops of the EDFC stepper motors, cutting the sound dampening foam helps, but they still touch.
