is just one side in the air or are both sides in the air? If you put both sides (left and right) in the air it should take the load off the swaybar. If you've only got one side in the air (left OR right), you're gonna run into trouble trying to reinstall the bar.

When I did it, I had to unbolt both end links from the control arm on the front sway bar in order to reinstall. You may also have to open up the metal 'sliders' that support the end link in the control arm. I did.
