Suspension Recomendation (Long read)

I sort of need a bit of advice. Basically if I am going overboard or not. First let me explain what I intend to do....

Basically I will be using my TII as a daily crusier (I have a daily driver for work and school) and weekend warrior, auto crossing, trackdays, and drifting.I am sure my TII will see quite a bit of street use, ecspcially beacuse I will be driving a pretty good distance to the tracks and just cruising around town and the twisties.

I want to try and get the best street/track setup as possible, but I don't want it to turn into a complete money pit, because I know I will probably not keep my FC forever. My intentions for getting the FC over a FD was because I want to learn and control the car at its limits without killing myself or the car. Plus the money factor, setting up the car and fixing breakage, so at some point I will graduate to the FD level.

So in short at the same time of building up my FC I am trying to save for a FD and I want to try and get the best of my money out of the FC until then.

Anyways here is what I have come up with, any advice is greatly appreciated!

MazdaTrix Camber Adjuster
MazdaTrix Rear Camber links (mine are needing replaced, rusting and cluncking)
RB Toe Eliminator
RB Swaybar endlinks
Polyurethane Bushings
Feed Strut Tower Bar
Probably a 4 pt rollcage for the rear(still not sure)
Coilovers???

As for the coilovers I have MANY in mind....I know I need to narrow it down!

Tein HE, HA (cheapest, almost like throw aways), RA, RE
JIC Magic FLT-A2
Zeal S6, V6 (actually the whole Zeal line)
HKS Hipermax II, D
Kei-Office XR, GU, TDI

What should I look for in coilovers? Anyone usingor had used ANY of these stated please post opinions!

Noticeably missing from your list of coilovers is the GroundControll kit. They are inexpensive and just as good of quality as any of the others you listed. And the best part is that you can pick up the phone and talk to a very knowledgeable staff at GroundControll that is very familiar with the FC's and the proper spring rates for whatever other mods you have and the style of driving you plan on doing.

What you listed pretty much describes the suspension on my race car with the exception of the Mazdatrix camber adjuster, strut tower bar and 4 pt. cage. I have the GroundControl camber plates and no strut tower bar and a 6pt welded cage (with door bars).

When I first setup my car it was for pretty much what you described. Daily driven with some weekend racing. The spring rates supplied by GC was perfect. But when I gutted the car and turned it into a track only car I got new higher spring rates. That improved track performance but makes the car very unpleasant to drive on the streets.

My only regret was skimping out on the shocks. I have the KYB AGX shocks and they absolutely suck with the high spring rates I use. Once the car is running again (new motor next spring) my next big investment will be for some high end shocks (probably Advance Design shocks by GC).
