OK, i will be 100% honest i do not know crap about suspension except how to replace it so forgive me if i am completely retarded for even posting this... and for the record the engine right now is a SBF with an estimated 300HP along with a NOS cheater setup (up to 300 shot, i run 200 right now). It will be changing to a 450+ HP 408 stroker (before the giggle)

I was talking to a guy about the RX7 suspension and drag racing. some how or another i go ton the subject of firming up the rear suspension so that it doesnt slam the rear bumper of my body kit into the ground when i launch. So his idea was to get a set of blown out struts (obviously cheap) then extend them out all the way and weld the shaft in that position. The other idea he had was to use some good rear struts and replace the factory springs with some longer much stiffer springs from a pickup truck....

IF by some chance either would work, i am not worried about ride quality because i would be putting them on only when i go to the track.
