Stance Coilover problem

Hey guys, I have installed my coilovers and noticed something. My fronts sound when turning the wheels while in a stop. I'm planning to remove the fronts and reset preload and re adjust with just two full turns with hands. Any idea why this could be happening?

Does it make a popping noise? When and who did you purchase them from?

Got them from me a few months back I believe.

PM me or contact sales@stance-usa.com

Talk to Scott and they will take care of your problem. Sounds like an uppermount issue they had in the past.

Joe, just email stance and explain it to them. They are your best bet rather than messing around with guesses. Sounds like the spring is binding when you're at slow speeds or completely still and turning the wheel.

What part of the coilovers are spinning when you move the hub left-right?
It's probaby binding.
Mine went away after messing with it. Same exact issue, but also on slow moving and turning the steering wheel.
Messed with preload, tightening some stuff and grease 'em up.
The noise went away..

Some put flat thin bearings like this:

You need to fix your rear camber or those tires won't last long.

Yeah, I know. Can it be adjusted just doing a wheel alignment or I need to buy a rear camber adjuster?

Racing Beat or AWR Racing or Mazdatrix. Shoot I think Megan Racing even made one.

Since I have the swaybars and adjst end links from RB, I think I'll go with them...

Tnks Rishie. At first the car was really rigid. Was a pain in the @#$ to drive lol. The compr was like 9-FL, 11-FR, 12-RR, 14-RL. Now I have it on 3 in front and 5 in back. What compr r the springs I have Rishie?

Yep, this is what it seems like to me. I just oiled the shock body and some other parts with some WD40 and it got rid of it...for a while. YMMV.

You didn't know the spring rates you wanted/ordered?
That's a must man. Most like you have 8/6 just like mine as Rishie said that's the one they offer unless other rates requested. . . . check back with him

What are those numbers? Damper settings? From soft to stiff or other way around?
I have mine on 12/10 I think (i forgot) from Stiff to Soft. Its not too bad anymore.
I have the 8/6 Spring Rates. I'd be pissed if I got the 9/7 haha. I had 10/8 before.(crazy)
If possible, Id recommend 7/5.
I also have the RB anti swaybars, bushing, links and rear camber adjuster. Works great.
also top front/rear strut bars and cusco lower front under bar.
Good stuff.

Enjoy.

Ya I stock softer rates, 8/6. Stance typically has 9/7 for the FC.
