SSR Professor SP1...?
SSR Professor SP1...?
just seen this ssr professor sp1 wheel and i really like it. do they make an offset for the fd? i first seen them on a white mr2 here is the link for everyone to see. http://www.teamrice.org/tr4.0/index1024.html . the wheels have huge lips on them, if the offset is good for the fd and still be able to get a good lip on them i think i might buy these instead of the volk gt-n's. thanks in advance for the help..
Yes, that wheel has a large number of size/offset combinations. It's not an officially imported wheel, so you can't just get it from anywhere. I think Chuck at Rotary Extreme might be able to get them for you.
Unfortunately, it appears that SSRs Japan site is down right now -- www.speedstar.co.jp
You should also look at the Integral GT2, only at TireRack.

Eurosport in Hawaii is one of the distributors for SSR in the US. The other is Tirerack, but they do not carry the full SSR line (like the SP1). Eurosport handles the wheels that Tirerack does not.

Z1 Auto (http://www.z1auto.com/) in NY carries or can get those wheels. I was quoted ~$2K for a 17x8.5 (front) and 17x9.5 (rear) both +43 offsets for my FD. They're nice looking wheels, but they're heavy too.
