Shock/Spring/Coilover Suggestions?

Okay,

I have searched this forum, and have not quite found the answer yet, so I was hoping someone could help.

MY CAR IS TOO FUCKEN LOW!!!!!!!

I just got my FD, and it looks nice that low, but it rubs on my driveway apron, and just about every bump in the road.

I have tokico aluminas and Tanabe super H springs. 17 inch 235/45 in front, and 275/40 in the rear.

what shock/spring/ coilover suspension setup would alleviate this problem?

Thanks for the help.

I have Tein HA Coilovers on my FD. They have an in excess of 1" adjustable ride height. Currently in the front I am riding all the way down and I am experiencing the same problems you are. I think that all I need to do is raise the front 3/4 inch and I won't get the rub and I won't loose the look. Tein comes highly recommended. I searched the forum for suggestions as well and I was not real successful either.

I like coil-overs for their height adjustability, too. There are many good choices available, and many threads about what's out there. Any of them should have the height adjustability you seek, so you should focus on which ones have appropriate feel (supple or stiff) for your intended driving conditions and priorities.

I don't know if should just buy a set of $200 springs to fix the problem. I really don't know if that will do it. I do like the fact that the coilovers allow height adjustability, and I wont be guessing like with a spring.

I think I would be looking for a fair compromise between the 2. Im not a race car driver, and so do not need ultra stiff. However, I do not want to sacrifice all the handling aspects for a cushy ride. That is not why I bought the car. So what is a good middle of the road ride ? How can I tell what the coilover is designed to do?
