Yo,
Thread title says it all, the stock GTUs/Turbo wheels are +40, the aftermarket wheels are +33 or +42.
Common sense says +42, but I want to make sure it's the right choice.
I will be staying with the stock size of 205/55-16.
Thanks in advance!
Kevin

I just tried a 17x7 +42 on for size - rubbed slightly with 215/40 17's.
What width wheel are you getting? 16x7 I assume. If you go with a +33 that means the rim will stick out 7mm further than a stock turbo wheel.

Yo,
I will be sticking with 16 x 7, 205/55-16. I'm going for lightweight, I'm good for grip.
Thanks for your help!
Smaller number = further out. Got it! *grin*

i thinik you are better off with +32 you may need to roll the fenders though if you lower the car.
The lower the number (ie +32) the farther away the rim will be from the shock/spring and the farther it will stick out.
The greater the number (ie +42) the closer the rim is to the shock the more the wheel will be tucked into wheel well.
