RX-8 suspension question

Hey all, hopefully this is ok to post here. My friend has an RX-8, he's invested a ton in stereo and isn't really into performance. He's come across a problem though, because the weight of the stereo is starting to sag down the car in the rear. Most of this weight has been added in the rear.

I had him weigh the car, it's now 1490kg or 3,285lbs with a 3/4 tank of gas.

Is there any recommendations on a suspension to counteract this? He's not looking for a large drop, and values ride quality over handling. A slight handling improvement and drop would be fine.

Is there a specific shop or company that would be a great recommendation to contact for a matched spring/strut combo for this, or would coilovers really be the only way to get it just right?

Thanks in advance!

The adjustability of coilovers would be best. Because of the variable of stereo weight it would be hit or miss on throwing a spring on the car bought from someone who hasn't touched or seen the car.
