Right Front Caster Won't Stay Set

Please help. High Tech Auto was unable to keep a fixed setting each time they set it to +6 it would drop back several degrees. Bushings look good and nothing looks bent or out of place. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Is the strut bent slightly and it is rotating, changing the castor?

I'll look at the shock more closely but it appeared ok. Caster and Castor are both correct spellings Also my #'s are off I think it started at about -7.5 and would then move up to -5 its just not holding its setting. I gave up and had it set to a more neutral setting it will be better for autox and make me work harder on the track but at least its not pulling to the right anymore.

SHake down the front end for play. Could be a wheel bearing, a tie rod end or ball joint. Any of those would make it loose. When its got play it doesnt matter what you set it at. It will just go out as soon as you put the car down.

has the car ever been into a bad accident? If so the frame may be bent. Go to a body shop to find out whether or not your frame is straight. If that's good then check out your lower suspension. Like someone else mentioned, wheel bearings, and tie rods, and other stuff.

Thanks for the suggestions obviously something loose or broken somewhere just can't find it. Tie rod and wheel bearing seem solid, no accidents, its nothing major it just moves a coulple degrees but enough to be annoying. Next time I change the oil I will see what I find out. Thanks Again

A couple degrees is a BUNCH! a couple tenths of a degree is marginal. FD's are known for Control arm bushings in the front end going.

Zoom Zoom,
Thanks for the help I will just replace the control arm bushings up front right and left with some Mazda Comp bushings and hopefully that will do the trick.
Thanks Again
Fritz
