Replacing Struts/Shocks (FD3S) - questions
My FD is a stock, around-town car that never sees the tracks. At 59,000 miles, it needs new strut/shocks - at least on the front. After researching this site, I think I'm going with Tokico Illuminas (for adjustibility/quality/guarantee). The are about $450 for the set, about $50 more than the KYB GR-2s.
Questions: (1) Front struts and rear, or only front?
(2) Since the struts will be pulled, should I put in springs? I assume they'll last much longer than the struts, so I'm leaning no.
(3) Any sense putting in a strut bar? I'm not building it to race or anything, and -- at least before the struts went -- it rode pretty flat in the turns.
Thanks!

* Unless you are replacing with the same brand/type of shock, do front and rear together (i.e. don't mix and match shocks).
* IMO, do not get Illuminas. They are a decent shock, but old technology as to what is available today. Check out Tokico's HTS shock and spring combo:

Otherwise, grab some Koni shocks.
