Rebuilding rear calipers
Anybody with experiences? The piston seals are shot on both of mine and I figured I'd do it all. Are there any ssr's that I need or can I do it with normal garage tools? I did the front calipers were last year but those look easy compared with the rears. Thanks.

I searched all over message board - didn't find info. Rebuild process is pretty straight forward, I already rebuilt similar rear calipers on Audi before.
Question to somebody who knows...
There is 3 different type of grease included in rebuild kit.
1. small tube with oil-looking fluid
2. 2 packets with orange grease
3. 1 packet with purple grease
Which grease goes where? FSM doesn't say anything.

Can't help on the grease, bought a non-genuine rebuild kit over here for about $20 ~30 odd, which looked like it contained a white lithium type for lubricating the gear for the handbrake mechanism, if memory serves. Used some caliper compound inserting the pistons, other than that nothing remarkable except the circlip at the base of the bore, which is pretty fiddly using Chinese circlip pliers.

I'm done. Liquid smelled like brake fluid, so I assumed it' to lube piston/seal. Orange was for handbrake mechanism and sliders. Purple - I used to lube boots.
I can tell 1 thind. Power bleader isn't good for fresh fill up on 4 rebuilt calipers (I had ignition ON for opening ABS). Will have to repeat with friend and manual pump-and-open way..
For clamps I used pair of long pliers from Autozone which I grinded before when I rebuilt Audi calipers. BTW, FD calipers designed better with those needle bearings and were in perfect shape inside also nobody replaced fluid in ages...
Will attach images from when I did it on audi, but you get an idea of my rig..
