They look pretty nice, sort of like the Racing Hart C5's.

These look exactly like euro tuner wheels.. Hanmann (sp?) comes to mind...Sort of close to Oettinger also..but almost exactly like Hanmann

You know, Johnny's right on this one. But unless you have nothing better to do than memorize wheels like myself or maybe you, Johnny, most people don't have the experience. Be easy on the folk. hehe.

They do look like a hybrid Oettinger and Hamman wheel. It was definitely bred for Euro Style and appeal, which is why AKT picked up the line, to go with the Zigen Japanese lineup.

For the price I would get something else, only available in a 19", good fitments for special order. They list out for nearly an HRE, Kinesis, or Fikse. Which can be rebuilt if damaged in this country. hehe. Not good for a RX, get lighter and less luxury, but that's all relative on what you like.

I saw these wheels at their booth at the SEMA show. They are gorgeous though. One of my favorites because its slightly different. Something more economical is their M05, 2 pc. weld, forged outter rim. This can be had in staggered 18's and retails between $500.00 and $530.00, take 10 - 20% off that and that's a good deal for a pretty decent wheel. I haven't placed an order with them yet, I have been waiting for my 19's M-05, so I don't know what my deal is.

The outter rim lips are forged from what I was told, but the face is cast. If you have more technical questions I can contact my rep, so let me know if I can help.

See ya, Rishie

Thanks for the replies, I spoke to my friend who owns a shop and he gets a very nice discount on rims and bodykits because he mainly deals with them. He showed me the Aktusa site. He said he can get me the Type I for $2800, is that a good price? I don't know what the retail is I've heard it's up there.

thanks

$2800 no way man.. you have moved into..

Fikse, Kinesis, Forgeline,Simmons,Volk territory...AKT's for ~$3k.. are they 19's or dubs or something...You can pretty much choose whatever you may like if you are willing to spend $3K...especially if you are looking at 17's

That's what I'm saying. I told you that was in the Custom Built range. I know what I'm saying. But yeah that is for a 19, as that's all they are offered in. I think 19's are too big for performance. Hope you got smooth *** roads.

You can get some volks that are completely forged for that much. Get the GT-P or something. I don't know, maybe the AV3 if you want luxury appeal. hehe.

Assuming you are getting the silver and not the super chrome, that's 25% off list. That's a good deal, plus if he's your buddy I'm not gonna lowball. Ethics are a bitch, but good karma. I will call to see what my buyback is though. Sizes 19,8.5 and 9.5.

Good luck, Rishie

Johnny, we're a special breed. Not too many of us left. hehe. Sounds like Grumpy Old men or some ****, but I'm not even thirty yet.

I'll post back tommorrow.

You're not that special ...

Everybody knows that those wheels look just like Hamman's, duh! I actually shoped for Hamman's when I was shopping, but they're to snobby to make anything that will work on a RX. So I 'settled' for Fikse FM/10's

Hey Ryan, you're one of us. You are a special breed too, don't underestimate us. hehe. Anyone who goes through the motions and ends up getting a Fikse, Kinesis, HRE, Simmons, or a Volk, knows what's up in the end. Well, hopefully. I wouldn't spend that much without gaining some knowledge.

If we weren't so rare, I'd be out of a job. LOL.

Lates, Rishie
