Quick offset question.
being in iraq and limited resources, and limited time to actually look it up... i was wondering im on the process of purchasing some rims and tires for my 94 rx7... i have eibach springs, im looking for 18X9 for front and 18X10 for rear, with 265/40/18 for rear and 255/40/18 tires for front, what should my offselt be for my rims??? thanks alot again...
With the rear, you can go more aggressive if you like. It seems that you want to run a staggered setup so you won't be worrying about rotating your tires all around.
You could probably go with something in the lower 40's for the rear to give the car a more balanced look. 265's would be fine. With a 10" rim on the rear, a lot of people will probably suggest a 275. IMO, I wouldn't split the front to the rear more than 2 sizes (i.e. 245 F and a 265 R or a 255 F and a 275 R).
For a reference, the stock rims at 16x8 are a +50.

You'll want 35-series tires for 18" above a 235mm width.
Here are the combos you could do, width wise:
245/F, 265/R
255/35 F, 265/35 R
255/35 F, 275/35 R
The fronts will probably require a fender roll, the rears should be fine.

Those are a little large for the rim, particularly the 245 on 8" front. Any way you can get decent offsets in at least 8.5 and 9.5" rim widths? (you could use 9's and 10's in those widths)
