Well i just got my set of tein flex's. I was expecting a little more in the way of hardware, and DIRECTIONS
but oh well. Anyway, the tein flex does not come with an upper bump stop (which is stock in the front) and the super thin plastic separator between the shock and the shock tower. for the rear its the same thing, as well as missing the rubber pieces that sit above the shock post (in the car). i have the workshop manual but dont know how to copy a single page so i can post it, but im sure everyone already knows which parts im talking about.
anyway, the stock suspension has a multitude of rubber stops, and various mounting pieces that are not attached to the actual shock assembly it self. what (if anything) do i need to retain to install the teins? is it a metal on metal installation?
thanks, heath

With those coilovers it is a metal on metal install. Their metal pillowball upper mount things replace the stock rubber upper shock mounts.
I don't particularly like that aspect of some coilovers. That will add more noise, vibration and harshness to your drive.
Have you seen howard coleman's thread about suspension setups in this section?
