Question on installing Coilovers

I just finally received my Greddy Type S's. My question is in the rear I have the full Superpro bushings installed, however in the shock mount location it seems that the bushing is bigger than stock so it takes alot of effort to get the shock on.

I am wondering is it normal that I really have to push the coilover over the lower arm? I am just really worried about damaging the shock.

did u lube up the bushing with their supplied grease?

I just did the super pro bushing install and 99 spec RZ suspension on my car

some of the bushings are a tight squeeze but the grease helps...

Ofcourse on the insides I used alot. I am talking about the outside surface. All the bushings are in place that is not the problem.

My worry is about the coilover not pointing in its natural direction (straight down) but rather the "tilt" it receives to install it on the arm. The outside surfaces of the bushing is the problem the fact that it is larger. I guess however since the upper mount of the coilover is "pillowball" this means that it is made fore movement, I will inspect this further with the fronts as well.

Thanks for the replies Ottoman and Rich.

If the bolt is in the same place (the middle of the bushing) it seems like the shock will be in the same place. I don't see how the amount of tilt will be any different. What I am missing?
