Question about FD ofsets

I really like these wheels.
"18x9 18x10 rims. Offset for front is +12 and offset for rear is +19"
He has RX7 listed in the auction description, but will these fit the FD??? I thought stock offset was like 35-42, but I dont see why he lists RX7

Those wheels will not fit, no way, no how. The offset is just way too low. Why he has RX-7 listed as a possible fitment, I don't know, but he's dead wrong. I've seen other wheels on auction on eBay stating the same or similar with other Japanese cars (300ZX, Supra, 3000GT, etc.), and I'm thinking that there is the assumption that all of these cars can accomodate the same wheel but that is not true.
Anyway, most people here with aftermarket wheels are running an offset of anywhere from +35 to +50 (stock is +50). Generally speaking, the higher the offset the better. The lower the offset, you have to go with a narrower wheel (8" or 8.5") up front and to help avoid any sort of rubbing, run stiffer springs or coilovers.

Since that rear wheel is a +19 offset, would this rim sit too far out of the wheel well or do I have it backwards? Do you know what the back spacing would be on a wheel like that?

Cool thx. One more weird question. Since a rear 18x10 wheel would normally need an offset higher than +50 to fit an Fd properly, this +19 wheel has a differance of 31mm and would stick out 1.22" further out (nearly 1-1/4") correct?

Well I'm not intersted if a +19 18x10 wheel will fit underneath the wheel well of an Fd correctly. I have a very differant idea.
Speedking, since I'm still on the subject I'll fill you in on what I'm planning to do and my reasons for bringing back this old thread and asking these questions about unusuall offsets. I have a 20b that I will soon install in my Fd. I will be running CCW 17x9 w/ 255-40-17 front & 17x12 335-35-17 rear. This will more or less be my track set-up. I will be molding on Pettit flares for this however, I'm not to fond of the CCW's looks and I will purchase an additional set of wheels just for daily street use and looks(no Spreewells or **** like that). This is where my problem comes up. The additional set of wheels will be 18's. I will be running 18x10's in the back. The problem is making the 18x10 wheel fill the wheel well like the wider CCW 17x12 wheels will fit with the Pettit flares molded on. I was thinking of buying a 18x10 wheel with a less + offset and using a 1" spacer to accomplish this. Ultimately I'm trying to give off the illusion that the 18x10 wheel is wider than it actually is.
Now I know I could easily just purchase 18x12's with no problems but I can't find any wheels in that size that I like + most of the wheels in that size are alot more expensive. By going with the 18x10's my wheel selection will greatly improve and I may find the right one...I just don't know what offset to get.
