Now what is this: Everyone has an opinion. I'm glad you're happy with your wheels, and in your opinion you have perfect fitment.

I personally think 19s are just too big on an FD, a local guy has some Infiniti G37 wheels on his FD and when he pulled into the parking lot at a meet I thought they looked..... too big. Different strokes for different folks man, you're not going to convince anyone based on those 'lowered' pics.

What brand tires did you end up going with? I'm not sure if you posted it yet or not.

Yea you are not rubbing cause the car is still high. I used to own 19s and i did lower the car as much as i could and it still looked high, at least from the front.
Here are a couple of pics so you can get the idea on how low you could go with 19's

Well that is your opinion......I do like your wheels if that is the picture of your car. Most 18's look too small to me. Yours are fine though with the larger lip. And since it is lowered, to me....it does look much better. I went with Nexen tires, not the best but pretty affordable.

You actually drive that car that low?? I like the wheels but that is just too low for me. It looks cool but I am sure going down the road could be a challenge.

This is perfect

even while tucking tires on 18', the FD is still kinda high.

Smile

Some shots of my setup from a few different angles...... car could go a bit lower but I need to adjust my exhaust to gain more ground clearance.

Fikse Profil5 (~20lbs each) Michelin Pilot Super Sport (~25lbs each)
18x9.5 +38 with 255/35 front
18x10 +32 with 265/35 rear
-1.5 degrees camber f/r

These tires are very streetable--quiet and soak up bumps very well. Grip is good, but not up to par of say a Yoko AD08. They're great tires, but when I was ripping through the Dragon with them I was wishing I had AD08/Star Spec/RE11.

Thanks

I lowered the rear a bit more and the front looks higher than what really is in that pic. But couldnt lower it more cause then the car would never leave the driveway

yeah my front is 23'' and rear is currently at 24 but once I switch to 18x13 on 295/30 I'll be able to go 23.4''. Still i think the car is too high and there's no way it can go lower without destroying front fenders and hitting tubs. My FEED skirts are around 3'' from ground

Looks very good as usual Is there any reason why you choose 255/35 over 235/40? 235/40 has almost same diameter as 265/35 but 255/35 has smaller diameter. 235 may look a little stretched though.

Looks awesome Rich! Kinda makes me wish I'd left mine more stock bodied. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to buy another one and keep it that way haha.

Yea my side steps are around that, i can barely slide the stupid low pro jack under lol I had the all 4 arches at 23" but as soon as i drove out not even on 3rd gear bunch of smoke started coming out from the rears from the tires rubbing against the edge of the fender

HOLLY ****!!! you are going x13????? thats crazy !!! but if you do, why dont you wait till idk, lets say may-june so i can buy your current wheels with taxes Thats my goal, to get the damn vs-xx one day

hahah yes it'll be flush on both side of the wheel

love my flares but i'm jealous seeing all of you going origin/chargespeed fenders, they let you run such low offsets about an inch! I'd run 18x14 on 315 with these

*Jose get a loan and buy my rears (18x12+7) !!!! I might sell em instead of re-barreling... might cost less in the end.

Feed style front fenders (25mm wide)
