Your kidding right? Toe and sway bar settings contribute to oversteer, not negative camber. More negative camber gives you more grip while cornering. I would run even more negative camber than he is running, -2.0 camber will help reduce tire wear if you are racing a lot and have minimal impact on regular driving tire wear. His spinout was most likely due to inexperience and not being used to the new alignment settings. Toe in on the rear is a little less in than I might want to it be but 3/32 should give you a pretty controllable oversteer. I prefer 3/16ths myself but sway bar size and settings can make a huge difference. Didn't read if you replaced the sway bar bushings but if you did you could have increased sway stiffness in the rear now which could cause a big difference in oversteer balance vs. how it was before.
