evot23, what is your setup? How much is your car lowerd, and what size wheel/tires do you have? I have long been debating whether I should get 17s or 18s. I really like the look of the 18s, but don't really want too harsh of a ride. Plus it adds more weight. Your car looks really good with whatever setup you have.

Currently running 245/40 17 x 9 offset of the wheels are +42
Lowered quite a bit using ground control coilovers with 550 front and 350 rear spring rates. From the top of the wheel its about two fingers to the fender (a little over an inch?)
Going to 255/40 in the rear tires soon.
