Pics of my FC with Evo 7 wheels

I have evo 7 wheels on my eclipse.. but i wanted to enter my FC in a local autoX that weekend.. and needed some better wheels and tires compared to my stock Garbage 15 with 205 rubber..

my friend has Volks on his evo and i've been storing his wheels in my garage.. so he let me borrow them for the event..

the have some Advan A046's on em... lemme tell ya.. it made a WORLD of difference... a whole new car

yes I know the cars are dirty... i took the pics just for those curious..

a) since u never see Evo wheels on an FC
b) since u don't have Evo 7's in teh states

U guys might consider buying Evo 8 enkei's I think they would look sweet on a black FC.. or STi BBS's on a white FC

the front wheels are a perfect fit.. with a slightly home rolled fender

the backs could easily be brought out another 8-10mm's

so without further a due:

I'm pretty sure the offset on the STi wheels at least is too large to work on an FC without big spacers. Also, you'd need 05+ wheels, the 04's are 5x100.

yeah sti wheels are half an inch more inboard = no worky.

nic setup, I dont think you need spacers out back to move the EVO wheels out, I think you need camber correction to remove some negative camber out back, ouch... and you may want more negative camber up front, especially for racing.

nice lookign wheels though.

We're just not used to seeing them, so it's not something that immediately comes to mind, an easy mistake to make.
